Neurontape 1972 update: crosstalk, in/out sync, new presets and performance enhancements

We’re pleased to share the latest update for Neurontape 1972, bringing some useful new features and improvements based on user feedback.

Introducing crosstalk

This enhancement allows you to simulate the subtle bleed of one channel into another, replicating the exact portion of circuit degradation that can occur in analog gear.

Introducing input/output sync

Finally, we’ve added a sync for input gain and master volume, allowing you to focus on the saturation with just one knob.

New Presets for Varied Use Cases

This update includes new presets designed to cover a wider range of scenarios. These presets aim to make it easier for you to find the right sound without spending too much time tweaking settings.

Adjusted Parameters

We’ve corrected a few parameters to enhance the plugin’s reliability and ease of use. These adjustments are meant to make your experience smoother and more intuitive.

Increased Output Volume

We’ve also increased the output volume. This means you can achieve the desired tape saturation effect with lower input volumes, offering more flexibility in your mixing and mastering processes.

Lowered Noise Input

Finally, we’ve lowered the noise input to provide a more natural curve on the noise control. This should help you achieve a more realistic noise modulation, whether you’re aiming for a clean or vintage sound.

Note for existing sessions

If you have ongoing sessions using the previous version of Neurontape 1972, you might notice some differences in output and noise levels with this update. Please be aware of these changes and make any necessary adjustments to ensure your session sounds as intended.

We hope these updates improve your experience with Neurontape 1972. Thank you for your continued support and feedback.

Best regards,
