This is neurontape 1972

Introducing Neurontape 1972: the vintage vibes of a 50-year-old reel-to-reel tape machine!

Hey there, folks! We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of Neurontape 1972, our latest audio plugin. This plugin is all about capturing the essence of a remarkable piece of hardware—a Japanese reel-to-reel tape machine that’s been around for half a century.

What makes this tape machine so special? Well, this compact tape recorder was originally designed for home recording enthusiasts, but don’t let its size fool you. It’s built like a tank and packs a serious punch when it comes to sound quality. It’s got this crunchy, vintage vibe that just oozes character, making it an ideal tool for anyone looking to infuse their recordings with that classic ’70s feel.

We first got our hands on this tape machine about 12 years ago, and let us tell you, it was a game-changer. Influenced by the analog audio wizard Lisciel Franco, we knew we had to incorporate its magic into our work. And boy, did it deliver! Whether used in mastering or as a mix bus, Neurontape 1972 never failed to amaze us.

We’ve been hard at work since our debut plugin, Neurontube, and have made significant strides in our coding skills and AI involved process. That means Neurontape 1972 is not only packed with way more polished features but also optimized for better performance—all to give you an remarkable user experience.

So, get ready to transport your music back in time with Neurontape 1972. It’s time to rediscover the vintage magic that made the ’70s so special.
