known issues
On Mac: "Neurontube cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified"
The most common issue is that Apple doesn't allow Mac computers to run apps that were not downloaded via the App Store (which is the case with Neurontube: debut).
You can bypass this by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy after opening. If that doesn't work, open your Terminal app and run these commands:
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Neurontube.app
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/Neurontube.component
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3/Neurontube.vst3
Can't get any sound
It is important that your system (and audio interface) are well configured in order to run Neurontube: debut.
To make sure that everything is okay inside Neurontube: debut, go to Options and configure your input/output settings.
Check for the mute button, the guitar volume knob, the volume knob on the interface, the system volume and output settings.
For the Standalone version, some systems can't recognize audio devices. If that's the case, you can still use it via the VST/AU plugins in your DAW of choice.
On Mac: Neurontube: debut 1.0.1 AU plugin crashes Reaper
If that happens to you, try using the VST plugin instead, or even another DAW. (we are working on a fix)
On linux: VST plugin doesn't show up in my DAW
Go to your DAW settings and add this path to your VST Plugins paths list: /usr/local/Neurontube/
